One show was played on this date, unfortunately, it does not circulate. :-/

Fuck this non-circulating, no shows played bullshit.
Tomorrow, The Anniversary Thread comes back fierce with 3 months of uninterrupted freshness!

BOO YA!

Hellz yes!

7 years ago, the band kicked off their Fall 2000 Tour before taking a hiatus.
A few debuts and a few ripping versions were played this night.
This Bowie is one of my favorite versions as it features a real trippy intro and a
real face-tearing ending.
Highly recommended listening by me.

I LOVE that “Bowie!”

Thanks a.

Hell yep!
I was officially “lost in space” for that entire Bowie.
Really weird.
a

I thought this was an interesting choice from you since you had mentioned that you wanted to pull your hair out during the intro to the RCMH “Bowie” months earlier. So I wasn’t sure if you liked extended spacey “Bowie” intros or not.

Those are the best kind.
I actually was pulling my hair out at RCMH.
Again, waaaaay out there.

9 years ago, The Phish kicked off their Fall Tour in Canada.
A smoky and solid show all around, it featured a ton of outstanding versions throughout the night.
This Stash seems to get overlooked but really is a great version with a very “dopey” feel to it.
Check it.

What’s up with Canada and smoky venues? Didn’t you say the 7-6-00 show was smoky too?

Me losta face during this. I was right up against Page about 4 rows back. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Only one show was played on this date and it happens to include my all-time favorite Carini.
Mike lays it down HARD at the end and never lets up.

Not sure I really have a favorite Carini, but this is definitely top-shelf!

12-28-1998 is total BALM, but I consider the jam to be separate from the Carini.
a

I’m not a huge Piper fan, but this one is teh sickness.
It’s really all about Fish and Mike on this one, turning on a dime and making this
a breakbeat funk fest.
Check it!

Thanks a!

I take it this “Piper” must be at least 20 minutes, since most “WTU” I have seen haven’t been more than 5-8 minutes.
