HAPPY ANNIVERSARY *Thank You!*

I listened to that whole show earlier. The first set was awesome!

The “My Friend My Friend” wasn’t too bad. I could always use one of those. And I like “Horn.”
But the normally jammy songs of “Taste,” “LxL” and “Melt” sucked.

But yeah, that “Piper -> Gumbo -> Ghost” was spectacular.

Here is one of my favorite Tweezers from a fantastic '99 show.
The segue into the spacey Makisupa is really appropriate, too.

Damn A. If you’ve still got time before the day’s out, the only show I don’t have from fall ‘95 is 9/29 and I just want to hear that Cryin’…any chance of you maybe posting that for me?

That’s actually my pick for tomorrow.
Tomorrow being 09-29 and all…
a

yeah sometimes I’m not so smart that way.

Here’s a little known fact about today’s link…

After Fishman sang Aerosmith’s “Cryin’” this night, he was seen about town with Alicia Silverstone.
Canoodling, some may say.
Is wasn’t until later in the Tour that her publicist advised her that she was not dating Steven Tyler but that she was, in fact, sleeping with the Greezy Fizeek.

Today’s sequence is a ripping Mike’s from 12 years ago.
Total rippage is what’s abound.

Here’s a recap of September.
ALL OF THESE LINKS ARE STILL ACTIVE!!!

18 years ago, Reba was born.
If you have never heard the old arrangement, it is very different than what it eventually became.
I’m a big fan of Old Reba.

From one of the more underrated shows of '99 comes this fantastic pairing.
A super thick Tweezer into a vocally inspired version of On Your Way Down.
Flawless versions of both from one of my favorite shows of the Fall Tour.

Here’s a fantastic and lesser-known Hood from 12 years ago.
The intro gets pretty spaced out and the jam is soothing, as always.

Yes!!!

I lost this show about 2 years ago and have never got it back!

Good stuff a! (and btw, that picture of Week4paug with the RH tatt is fucking great!)

Are you a member or a lurker?
a

I was a member a while ago, but I can;t remember my info or password.
So I rejoined.

Remember when Trey used to shred like no other?
The ending of this Bowie is another day at the office for Trey back in 1990.
SHRAGE-TASTIC!!

At what point - and I’m looking for a specific date (or tour) - would you say that Trey stopped shredding like no other?

The first Euro Tour of '97.
a

Which really is no coincidence, since that is the time period when they started experimenting with funk-based jams and Trey started settling for more chording and textural playing.

The days of really wacky, up-tempo, crazy improv-shredding definitely started to wane.

There was definitely shredding going on in later years, but 1990-1993 was just insane.
