HAPPY ANNIVERSARY *Thank You!*

quit sullying up this thread Neil!!

don’t click on the link olfactory, lets just say it involves POOP

November 2nd was a great day in Phish History, but for me, the real stuff went down in '96.
If you haven’t heard this sequence with Karl Perazzo, I don’t know what to tell you.
Hopefully you have friends and family that still care about you.
Here is the Soundboard of this legendary performance.

oh what the fucking fuuuuuck??? :-X :-X :-X :’( ??? :-[

Today’s link is a fantastic acoustic set from '98, which was played in between the Utah and Denver gigs.
Mixed in with these tunes are some funny interviews and banter.

I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard this.

Lovin’ me some '98.

Thanks!

“Can you feel it?!”
This is definitely the funniest Vibration Of Life.
TESTIFY!
The Bowie is another underrated Fall '94 gem, as well.

Yesterday, we had the funniest VOL and today I will supplement that with the funniest Icculus out there.
Trey keeps cracking the F up.

I was hoping you would use this one! The VOL is great.

9 years ago, the band turned Wisconsin into a dance party with this version of Split Open.
Easily a Top 5 contender, this one effortlessly exudes hot, sticky funk.

wow, it’s been 9 years? good god. noice pick a!

I’ve always loved this version Gus! Great choice for the kids. I remember cranking this version in the lot after the first night of great woods in 99. There was some kid sprawled out in the backseat of the car next to us. One of his friends in the front seat got out of the car and approached me. He said his buddy fucked up his ankle during the show, is really in pain and was wondering if we could turn up this version of Melt we were groovin out to! ;D. So i preceded to turn it up and give the guy a vicatin!

Nice!
Yeah, this whole show is solid.
Top 3 of the Tour for me.
I saw you with Carini and that naked d00d…
a

wtf? all I ever heard in that show was sloppy slop…although the Split is good

maybe I’ll have to try again

You best bring your ears into the shop.

I just started up the second set after finishing the first.

No love for the “Maze?”

11 years ago, one of the all-time classics went down.
The Rupp Gin!
For those not that familiar with Fall '96, this is a great example as to what could go down on any given night.
Prepare yourself…

What does everything think of this show overall?

I like this “Gin,” of course, but I like a lot of the other parts of the show, too.

Love it.
That four day run was SOLID.

I haven’t heard this complete show in a while, but I think I remember the set-ending “YEM” as being a particularly spirited, above-average version.
