It happens.

Great choice today a.
That paug is great.
They were so tight in 95.
My fave year by FAR.
Here is a lengthy and underrated version of Reba from 13 years ago.
Much like the Tweezers the band was experimenting with on this Tour, they decided to take this version way out there.
Check it.

Good choice. I actually heard this version not too long ago for the first time.
The jam is interesting. The beginning of the jam is better than the end, IMO. And normally that’s not the case with “Reba.”
But still a must-hear for fans of improvisation.
While Fall '97 is mostly known for it’s funk, it also brought a ton of spaciness from night to night.
This Simple is a prime example of a jam getting way the F out there.

^ is verrry nice, yes.
a, i’m not sure if you realize it or not so i’m just gonna throw it out there. i’m sure it was an honest mistake, but it seems you loaded the wrong show on 12/06. you meant to put up the entire second set from 12/06/97 because i still don’t have a quality recording of it and it’s my favorite set of Phish music. it’s okay. we’re all human and to err is, well, you know. so i guess just this once i’ll let you break the order of “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY w/ links” to correct this mistake.
alright.
aight.
kewl.
Nah.
12-06-1997 II is one of the most overrated sets out there.
It was purely intentional.
a
you don’t mean that! you can’t mean that!

From fifteen years ago, here comes a SOLID version of Tweezer into a flawless Tela.
When else am I gonna post a Tela?

O…
M…
G.
It’s a TRIPLE DIZZLE!!!
December 11th is a hot day in Fish History.
Like, real hot.
First off, is the famous “Dog Log” show from 12 years ago.
This Bowie is one of my favorite versions and features a truly psychedelic intro and jam segment.
Focused and terrifying is how I like my Bowies.

From ten years ago, comes the well documented Rochester show.
This Disease has been called by some as the best version ever played.
It’s definitely up there, for sure.
I lost my mind this night something fierce and I have the “Drowned” to blame.

And from, arguably, the best show on the December '99 run, comes a meaty segment of this fantastic second set.
After a pretty lackluster show the night before, the band came out swinging and didn’t let up all freaking night.
This Ghost is pretty damn intense.

I do sometimes take liberal use of hyperbole, but by god if this might not be the greatest anniversary w/ links post to date.
This one?!
Yes, that one.
I haven’t heard that “Bowie” but the other picks are some of my favorites.
Dude.
Get on that!
Pan-seared face coming right up.
a
10-21 takes a giant shit on that bowie. Word.
LOL.
Take your official releases and scram.
a
Oh I will, Oh I will…
Aren’t you the guy that thinks the 02-28-2003 Tweezer is the best jam?
LOL.
Or has never heard the Orpheum Bowie?
LOL.
a
HAHAHAHA
nOOberts
edit: thanks for the 12.11.99 snippet, a
looking forward to re-listening to this
