Happy Holidays
August

Just when I was going to say that Ken Burns was going to do a ten part documentary on the horrors of a postless Live Phish thread…You go and do this. Thanks A!!! Merry Christmas!!

Rock On!!!

Dude I just listened to that 12.12.97 Bitch–>2001 one segue and that shit is tight!

I forgot how smooth that was. Rockin’ the 2001 now!

^^^ DOPE MIX A!

btw, did T-rey hit a balloon before that “Lane passing” speech?

or was it the cheesecake?

From what i saw and heard there was a tank (amongst other things) in the port-o-let on stage. I actually saw Mike come out while cashing a balloon then throw the empty on the stage!

I, in no way, altered that track…
a

I’m curious to see what will be posted today.

Lots of solid shows on the 28th of December.

Hopefully a double-dizzle.

Or a triple-dizzle.

Or…dare I say…the quad-dizzle?

Wrong!
IT’S THE MUTHAFUCKIN’ QUINDIZZLE!!!

For the Holiday Run I am gonna post 5 links each day.
Lets go out in STYL3!

The first link is the super heady set closer from 17 years ago featuring John Popper on all three tunes.
This was the last time both “No Good Trying” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong” appeared.

It’s rare that a Mike’s is overshadowed by a Weekapaug, but this is the case with this meaty link.
The Mike’s gets evil but this Weekapaug gets straight insane-o and even features an early CTB tease.

From one of the best sets I saw, comes a beefball of a link.
This Maze is THE BEST MAZE EVER.
There is an official “Digital Delay Loop Jam” right before the MWS, keeping with the NYE theme.
This Mike’s is bonkers. There, I said it.
Easily one of my favorite versions.
Don’t skimp on this segue-laden set!

Makisupa > Maze > Bouncing > DDLJ > MWS > Avenu > Mike’s > Design > Weekapaug

This show kinda gets lost in the NYE '97 run, but there are definitely some highlights.
This version of Split gets pretty dark from the jump.
Underrated and I like it.

Two of the spaciest creations by the band, back-to-back.
Both of these tunes get way the F out there.
Like, way the F.

Enjoy.

Wahoo!

This truly is the gift that keeps on giving!

Way better than the Jelly of the Month Club!

That it is Eddie, that it is.

And thank you Giuseppe! My first New Years run!!

Stink, stank, stunk!

That “Carini -> Wolfman’s” makes my head spin.

Freal.
After the '95 run, '98 is my favorite.

Gimme the Runs!

1995
1998
1994
1993
1997
1992
1996
2002
2003

Too bad BC wasn’t really a run.
a

What’s the difference between a run and a stand?

A stand would be in the same location.
A run would be a group of shows in different locations.
That’s my take on it, anyway.
a

Ah, that makes sense.

Way more sense than my hypothesis, anyway.

ah ah ah Neil, I saw no “if…Then…” statement.
