This is a great lead up to my NYE B-DAY!!!

Rock On!!

What?

Happy Anniversary indeed!!!

wow! Thanks a! Today’s downloads are overwhelming!

4 stars!

This Stash seems to get over looked by the Real Gin in the second set.
The jams starts off in eerie fashion then Fish takes control of the time (a la 12-02-1995 Tweezer).
The entire time, Page is ripping it up on the Grand.
Facial carnage abound.

From a bizarre show comes a bizarre YEM.
A really nice “Nirvana” section starts it off.
The jam really takes off early which later turns into a full out Rotation Jam.
Check it.

This crazy-long 2001 intro is awesome.
They turned MSG into the biggest dance party when they dropped the beat.
Total killer shit right here.

O M G! The Miami Piper!
As legendary as the brother of Zeus, this version gets into the rippage hemisphere.

Here’s a great cut from 15 years ago.
The Timber starts out as Bowie.
Timber rips and then finds it’s way back into Bowie.
Great stuff and great recording.

A short yet rocking Gin is what I gots for ya.
I love how they double up the time on the drop of a dime.
Underrated and kickass.

Continuing the trend of Fall '94’s long and spaced-out Tweezers, this version from the Holiday run brings more of the same psychedelic h33t.
My second favorite extended Tweezer of '94.

Believe it or not, this is my all time favorite version of Ghost.
Straight and to-the-point, it just might tear an entire face off.

Bowie and Ghost, both short and powerful, pretty damn ideal imo.

The first link for the last day of the year is truly one of the sweetest versions of Hood out there.
A really cool Auld Lang Syne kicks this jam off nicely.

Here is a ripping Mike’s sandwich from 13 years ago.
Only a completely bananas Mike’s like this could segue so smoothly into Buffalo Bill the way it does here.
The Weekapaug is equally as frenzied and features Page going off like the clothes on a hooker. He could finally do the Superfly Snuka.

One of the classic versions of Jim.
Not really a fan of the tune, but this one is amazing.

After the 1999 opener, the band tore right into this fierce Mike’s.
The jam gets quite mellow around ten minutes in and finds it’s way into Hydrogen.
The Weekapaug has some cool 1999 teases in it, too.

And from the Hiatus ending comeback show is the show opening Piper.

Happy New Year
August

Here is a recap of December.
ALL OF THESE LINKS ARE STILL ACTIVE!

I always thought it was strange that they opened this run up with Chalkdust > Gin and then opened up their last show at Hampton the following year the exact same way.
Anyway, this lengthy Chalkdust is a great version that really mellows out in the middle.
Good stuff.

I’m surprised trey didn’t go ballistic after screwing up the 2nd time… at least they recovered damn well, the jam was intenseeee

A Bunsen Burner to the face will have the same effect as listening to these versions of Rock and Roll and Mike’s.

January is a really light month for the band.
The next few weeks are full of dates when shows weren’t played or shows that do not circulate.
The next circulating date is on the 20th, so I’m gonna be back on VaCa until then.
Catch you in a few weeks.

Thanks A!

Enjoy some R & R.

Bunsen Burner to the face, eh?

I’ll be out of town until Monday, so I’ll throw up tomorrow’s link this morning.

Here is the debut of The Squirming Coil and Caravan.
