HAPPY ANNIVERSARY *Thank You!*

You’re too shy to say it

that Hood->Tweeprise up at the top of the page was very nice, thanks a. Hadn’t heard that in a while.

I need to hear 12.29.93…because both 12.30 and 12.31.93 completely blow me away.

The '93 run is SOLID.
a

12.31.94 Weekapaug is quite fantastic.

I don’t think it tops the next New Year’s Weekapaug, but the Auld Lang Syne tease towards the end of the '94 version is perfect-o.

It’s been a real light month so here’s a double dizzle.

First is a super funky Alumni and tight ass YEM from 19 years ago.

The second link has Page NAILING the vocals and Trey shredding the solo up on this Led Zep tune.

Here’s a sweet trio from 20 years ago today.
The transition from ACDC into Possum is smooove.

Check out this old school version of Wilson.
Heavier with more shred, it is a certified Tit Ripper.

This is the last link of the month, but February and March are jam packed.
A lot of killer stuff coming up in the next few weeks
Enjoy.

Man…January was L I T E!
Don’t sweat it, the Anniversary Thread is BACK!

After taking January 1991 off, the band kicked off their tour in Providence.
Included in this quartet of tunes is the debut of Guelah.
Nice sounding tape, too.

Here is another great one from 17 years ago.
Trey gives a brief run down of some of the “new” songs in the middle of these great versions.

I absolutely LUV the older version of The Wedge.
Page goes off in the “jam” section.
This Weekapaug ain’t no slouch, couch.
It contains a “Push th’ Little Daises” jam and is pretty badass.

A perfect way to start the day is with two perfect jams from 15 years ago.
This Bowie jam is insane-o and is preceded by a brief Vibration of Life.

The next two months are gonna be great for those not too familiar with “older” Phish.
Tons of '90-'93 and plenty of the '80’s sprinkled in.
a

Sounds perfect to me!

hooray for older phish

Here’s a dope trio from 19 years ago.
Have I mentioned that I LUV the fast version of Sanity?
I do.

Does it make me a bad person that I don’t listen to much older Phish?

It’s not that I don’t like it…I mean, I love all things The Phish.
I just don’t seek out much pre-93 Phish.

I would think that fans of every band have their favorite “eras.”

You’re missing the goods.
a

Well, that is the general consensus I get.

Up until a few years ago, 96.4% of my Phish listening was 1995-2004.

Now, I’d say that percent has dropped to maybe 75 or 80%.

Hey, I’m trying.
