HAPPY ANNIVERSARY *Thank You!*

DOUBLE DIZZLE ALERT

First, is a very underrated and shragetastic Antelope from 15 years ago.
It’s guaranteed to rip your face clean off.

The second link is my all-time favorite version of Stash.
Another concise ripper, the jam acts as one big tension with a HUGE release.
You gotta hear this one.

From the first (and most overlooked) night of the famous Roxy run, comes a trio of awesomeness.
The Maze is a total madhouse.
Page goes off!
Trey has some trouble remembering the lyrics to Forbin, but it’s all good, Homeslice.

This was my first show back after Shoreline 'oo.
Things were looking promising with this opening duo, too.
Very underrated Disease right here, dewds.

Believe it or not, Sydney Ellis is one of my favorite guests to play with the band.
These three debuts (and only performance of each) are great.
She really brings out a nice side of the band, too.

I believe the PCv2 describes that sequence as “Grateful Dead-ish” or something like that.

I’ve always wondered how that sounded. Thanks!

ULTRA HETTY DOUBLE DIZZLE ALERT

These are some goodies.

First, is a funny interview from 11 years ago.
Great banter intertwined with a few acoustic performances.
The band is in a really great mood, too.

Thanks again for all of these!

This Moma is soooooooo sick. Well worth the ~5 hour drive back afterwards so I could take a test at 8am. Damn I miss the flexibility of college.

gee i love double dizzles

I’m gonna download the last three links when I get home tonight and rock out.

Stupid work computers block sendspace.

But thanks aug! Haven’t heard that Moma in a while (easily my favorite), and I’ve never heard the other two!

Very underrated and ripping, this version of Stash will pan fry yer face clean off.

Oooh, early versions of “Stash” get me hot.

That usually means Trey machine-guns it up.

From the most overrated show comes the best version of GBOTT (No. Really).
It kinda moves along like a raging Possum would.

Most overrated post-hiatus show? Yes.
Most overrated Phish show ever? Not in my opinion.

My favorite version of “Back on the Train?” Sort of (tied with 6-14-00).

This show and Cypress.
What other shows come close to those?
a

I would have liked to seen a little more improv and a little more meat in 12/7/97 II.

That’s off the top of my head, I am leaving for work. Will post my thoughts later this morning.

Of the shows that I think get a decent amount of hype, and of the shows I’ve heard at least three times, here are the ones I think, IN MY OPINION, are overrated… (and yes, they are all post-1996 because the bulk of my listening is that era):

8-9-98
