HAPPY ANNIVERSARY *Thank You!*

Today packs a WALLOP with 2 meaty links!

First, the ten year anniversary of one of the more overlooked shows out there.
They opened up the second set that night with a nearly 30 minute Ghost taking it all over the place. It truly is one of the best versions.

The second meat monster was from 7 years ago.
A nearly 35 minute Runaway Jim opened up this second set and gets way out there.
Another fantastic version.

whoa, that was weird. I came into this thread and was going to request something from that Camden run. Perhaps the Magilla or something. Then I thought of that Jim. And then you posted it. And then I typed a response to that. And now I am downloading it. And now I am once again thanking Mr. A for his contributions.

cooooooooL

Nice!
Don’t skimp on that Ghost!

I would definitely recommend this version to people who like to see songs go waaay out there…so far out you don’t remember what song started the madness…only to have them return to the theme of the song and you’re like “Oh yeah, that was the song.”

7-3-00 Best Sand ever!

1999-09-11 might have something to say about that.

Oh shit… Now I am referencing '99 against Mr.99.

Whoa.

Debut version of a song “best ever?”

I actually listened to 7-3-00 as a whole today and while the “Sand” was good (some nice start/stop jamming near the end), I’m not sure it’s my favorite. I like 10-6-00 quite a bit.

Agreed on 09-11-1999 and I’ll throw 12-13-1999 in there, too.
a

^ Agreed those are 2 stellar yet standard versions! The jam they went into at the E center is paralleled by none!

Happy 4th of July!

7 years ago, The Phish opened up the second set with a LONG Jibboo.
Some people aren’t the biggest of fans of this lengthy version, but I sure am.

I was hoping you’d put up that Jiboo for all to hear. It was my favorite thing they did in 00. It’s funny cuz 7-3 was my first show of the tour and lots of my crew were already complaining about how many jiboo’s they already heard. When they started it up on the 4th i heard groans
across the crowd! Little did they know that this was the going to be the boo to end all boo’s! LOL!

^nothing worse than groaning fans, bitter about song selection.

Even though I was that guy for one song…Friday. That song really disappointed me the 4!, yes 4 times I saw it in 15 shows.

There is one redeeming quality about Friday! the jam always reminded me of the New Age jam from Loaded. They never played a Friday that got me as high as the NA i heard that night in vegas, but it’s something i guess!

13 years ago, The Phish rolled into Canada like a bunch of wild banshees.
They brought SERIOUS heat the two nights they played there on their Summer Tour.
I present to you exhibit A…

They just SLAM right into Letter To JP.
Enjoy.

(all other links are still active!)

once again, YOU DA MAN!!!

AND THANKY YOU FOR THAT 7/4 GJ WITH THE MAGILLA!!! that’s what I NEEDED to hear!

Glad you enjoyed it!
a

Yeah, I don’t see how people don’t like this version. I read about people complaining about seeing “Jibboo” all the time during the tour, yet when they finally stretch it out and REALLY jam on it, they complain.

scoffs

I can’t believe it clocked in at 30 minutes. It was so good that the 30 minutes flew by in no time.

Thats the gud stuff right thar!!

Let’s see…

Tomorrow is 7/6.

A VERY good version of a particular song occurred on this date tomorrow. It kick-started a MASSIVE set.

A version that most recently moved into my top-5 all-time.

YEAH!!!
