HAPPY ANNIVERSARY *Thank You!*

^^
I’ve never actually heard that show.

It’s kind of stuck in an odd spot on the tour (after the East Coast/4th of July runs and before Alpine and Deer Creek) so I’ve never really heard much about it, either.

It smokes.
Especially the Mike’s.
Too bad I spent most of the second set in the “hole”. :-/

13 years ago, The Phish THREW DOWN at Great Woods.
The first set was a complete Gamehendge and they matched that energy during the second set, as well.
The second set included THE Stash that is featured on A Live One, a smoking Reba and this YEM > Frankenstein > YEM. Frankenstein came out of its retirement from '91 earlier in the Summer and found it’s way in the middle of this sandwich.
The transitions in and out are FLAWLESS.
Also, I uploaded the soundboard.

Absolutely love that show. Killer Stash.

4 years ago, Shoreline got rocked by this Gin.
If this shit doesn’t make you move your ass, your ass is broken.
Make an appointment ASAP to get it checked out.
Mike holds it DOWN and gets so funky straight out da box.

just finished this one. very solid 2001! however i still think 1998-12-29 edges it out, IMO.

btw, thanks for all of these! ive needed a reason to start listening to phish again and all these random songs will prob help that. on the rare occasion i want to listen to a phish show i find it hard when having to pick from 600-650 shows. i cant imagine picking happy anniversary jams is any easier when you have every show at your disposal.

Ten years ago, The Phish tore down France in grand fashion.
It was their last 2 set show before heading back to the US and the fun that they had that night bleeds through the tapes.
This show is my favorite show from ALL of '97.

16 years ago, The Phish started their 2 week tour with the Giant Country Horns.
There is nothing like a little GCH to get you goin’.

He overlooked the avocados and passed the vegetables.

I have to get a cd burner on my computer here at work and make some “A’s BEST” Volumes.

Another throw down at Great Woods!
8 years ago, this trio of tunes knocked some sox off and still does today.
I love that they played the “official” version of N02, as it appears on the DWD single.

I have to confess, I celebrated the NO2 directly following the show.

le mafia was happy that night.

Thanks a

Okay, I know I’m being greedy, but I’ve never heard a crisp version of this show. Any chance the Foreplay>Longtime could be made available?

Sorry to bother ya

13 years ago, this Stash melted faces.
It’s strange because it only clocks in at 10 minutes, yet covers all the bases.
Truly a psychedelic version.
