So like, when we celebrate a dead guy should we take the # of years dead and subtract them from the # of years living and THEN attach a negative sign to the living years to indicate the number is a death birthday figure? Like Oldphish dies at 80 20 years ago so we’d be celebrating his -60 birthday! Not exactly straight forward math but you get the point.
However I’d like to propose that when a person dies we switch from celebrating his birthday to celebrating his death day as that is more appropriate… the we add the # years living to the # years dead and then make tea.
So how old/dead is Zappa?
