i just read somewhere that he married some lady from my town back in the day…used to frequent a bar round here called “rustic cabins”…also did some joy riding across the ritzy golf course with neil cassidy…cassady? whatever.
RIP.
pass here and go on
you’re on the road to heaven
^if you believe in that kind of thing
but RIP nonetheless
^Kerouac would often refer to heaven as an individual paradise. Although he was raised Catholic, religion was a funny (as in odd) part of his life. RIP.
well that makes sense then
I’m not well-read, as you can tell. The only book of his I read was I believe his last, about war.
^welcome to the ohkeepa too, man
thanks man.
I was the wedge eons ago here (pHG–post hiatus guy!). then went to the All About jazz forums, found them to be pompous and uptight. then i came back here recently, laughed my arse off looking at posts from you guys (phg esp.) and thought this place was more like home. Keep it up ya hooligans…
