I have been here for awhile and know the old skool -v- the new school… I liked both and think the new OKP is 100% acceptable and is current with the times we’re in.
I like what we have and I love the people I have met! I DO feel comfortable calling those folks friends too.

We are all unique individuals who come here for the same reason. Phish. Jay is always gonna defend Barb. Glenn is ALWAYS gonna be sarcastic. Those are things that I love about this place. Chat or no Chat. Posts or no Posts. Coming together as a unit from all over the country, and yes, even the world. We share this unique common bond, and for several years now made it work. We are a small, WONDERUL group of individuals that I have come to love and care a lot for.
No, we’re not always gonna get along so well, but that’s what makes us unique. We might not all get along, but we coexist in this small community to joke, laugh, get to know one another, and above all discuss the music we hold so dear to our hearts.
So, come one people, let the posters post and the chatters chat. It doesn’t matter!!!

basically we’re all wanting the pa to be the best it can be. We should be thankful that memebers even give a shit. If all you want us to do more is come up & post we can we love it here too, & return often for our own reasons.
I will say… that glenn… in NO way is jay gay if you must reduce to name calling at least be accurate so back up off my boyfriend in that regard

this thread should be locked or something…its not going anywhere, apparently it never was since the chat was never under speculation to actually be deleted or whatever…I’m pretty sure without the chat I wouldn’t have made it to or felt comfortable meeting the Pa’sters or hitting the meet-ups that I did this summer…also some are not aware of the magic that occurred in the chat during public on-sales (mostly due to Pei’s amazing work)…i feel like the chat’s contributions far outweigh its negatives, which i agree there could be some…
I think it’s a great thread since it’s added so many new posts by the chatters.

edit: btw, my lack of posting lately has more to do with how busy i am right now, and it seems by the time i get to the threads that are worth a shit, I don’t have anything meaningful to add because the threads are already multiple pages long, and people are already going back and forth over the topic
