Re: yeah, at least he finished Batman - But what was he filming? - the latest Terry Gilliam. Gilliam is one of my favourite directors yet seems to have so much trouble getting his films to screen (The Don Quixote pic being obvious example but not the only one) - so maybe this one will die as well.
But that is the least of the tragedy - Anyone dying this young is such a dreadful thing.
this blows. i really liked him as an actor. he was pretty much fearless and made all his roles interesting. plus it’s just plain shocking. i don’t know why it’s more shocking to me than Brad Renfro, but it is.

I heard his father talking on the radio this morning, it must be terrible to have your son die on the other side of the world and to be so far away. I guess they aren’t sure if it’s suicide or natural causes yet so I’ll reserve my comments regarding that. It only just clicked with me that his ex wife was the same girl from Dawson’s Creek. I feel sorry for his daughter. I’m only 23, but even being 28 still seems so young.

I can’t say I’ve ever really enjoyed him in any of his movies since most are generic crap (not because of Heath, of course). Sadly, I hope this means we won’t get endless repeats of A Knight’s Tale on AMC. I’ll bet his Batman movie will get monster ratings since most will want to see one of his last performances…I’m kind of intrigued too since his Joker role was pretty different from anything he had done before.
Seriously though…that was a bit of a shocker, especially since he’s close to my age. It’s amazing how these folks seemingly have it all but can’t appreciate it. I probably never understand that part of it.
And what’s with these people always being found naked? Don’t folks wear clothes when they die anymore?
