I saw this one movie, I forget what it was called, but it was about a guy who was mentally disturbed, and really shy around women. So he ordered some mannequin out of a catalog and paraded it around his town like it was real and his girlfriend. In fact, I ended up feeling sorry for the mannequin at the end! Almost like I started out watching the movie thinking, ‘how ridiculous is this concept’. and by the movie’s end thinking, ‘his poor girlfriend’ -like she was real! It was a really bizarre movie, but directed really well! Anyways, that article reminded me of that movie.
