I’ve always been curious about these types of websites (idk if ‘hit or miss’ is exact terminology at all, just thought it fit)…the shopping sites that have crazy discounts on stuff like once a day or whatever for a short period of time? I know someone told me about one for sunglasses in particularly that he grabbed a nice pair like half off for example, any of you folks use these sites or even know what I’m talking bout? haha
I like checking Woot.com … and their shirt.woot.com … it’s bad for impulse buying but they have some randomly good deals, and shipping is always $5.
We like steepandcheap.com, brociety.com, whiskeymilitia.com, etc. They’re all sites run by backcountry.com that offer one deal at a time. We’ve gotten a ton of stuff of of steepandcheap including a camping table, sunglasses, goggles, and a rain coat.
^ Yeah steepandcheap is so friggin awesome. You can snag things like a really nice Kelty pack for like $30-$40 on there on a pretty regular basis. i need a super-lightweight backpacking tent, so I’m hoping one will pop up on there soon. Definitely check out steepandcheap if you like outdoor activities.
