has anyone watched the movie and played this album at the same time? apparently it matches up like floyds darkside and the wizard of oz. this seems really bizzare but phish is a bizzare band so i guess this is possible.

i told my friends about it. one bought the album and movie just to see if it worked. he said it matched perfectly. i laughed my ass off. then made fun of him relentlessly.

I’ve done the Dark Side/Oz thing, and I definitely did see some eerie similarities. But that’s partly because I knew what I was supposed to be looking for. If some random person off the street did it, then it may seem odd to them and it may not work.
Another thing is that sometimes people convince themselves that what they’re seeing matches up; when, in reality, it doesn’t. That’s why I’m thinking that Round Room/Home Alone don’t really sync up. However, things are open for interpretation, so one person could swear it works while someone else is adament it doesnt.

I used to do this stuff back in grade school/high school with Pink Floyd and movies. Havent dont it years, but now I am thinking about it haha.
My favorite is Wish You Were Here synched up with Blade Runner. The scenes fit with the music amazingly perfect… just imagine listening to Shine On You Crazy Diamond, I know I picture a future world filled with robots at times.
