HYHU or Cold as Ice?

Just curious as to your guys thoughts as to what you prefer as the intro and reprise music to Fishman’s crazy antics. I know Cold as Ice isn’t as prevalent, but it was pretty interesting when Page would do a little diddy of it. Or perhaps when Fish plays the vacuum it ruins your set?

On a sidebar how did they come up with using these songs anyways? I was thinking about this other day when I was listening to a show. I know it’s a pretty basic deal and that Trey can take over the drums easily, however why HYHU?

I gotta admit I kinda like Cold As Ice, but am just so use to hearing HYHU that I don’t know if I could get used to anything else.

Also what is your favorite Fishman song? Bike? Love You? Terrapin? Crackling Rosie? Touch Me? Sexual Healing? Others?

I love Terrapin… Love the 7/11/00 version. All the way from the set of the Gladiator…Ladies and Gentleman Russell Crowe. Fishman: It really was my best role to date. Hilarious

I prefer HYHU myself. It could knowing the fact that the band plays it simply b/c Fishman dislikes it so much that gets me.

I guess I don’t really have a favorite Fishman song. “Purple Rain,” maybe.

Never was a big fan of the Fishman songs. They’re alright once in a while, but usually I skip over them. If I had to pick, though, It’d be HYHU, and either Love You or Purple Rain.

I’ve never heard Cold as Ice so I would have to say HYHU. As for favorite fish song, it would be a tie between Sexual Healing and Purple Rain.

^ Those are likely my two least favorite Fishman tunes. But that’s cool…

I always enjoy hearing a Syd tune.
