My slang phrase is “fair enough” because I feel like it reflects my incredibly ambivalent attitude better than anything else. My slang word is probably “dope,” its just a great all around word, especially to use around squares.
I do think right on is awfully cliche sounding though. I think of Jon Stewart in that one Dave Chappelle movie about pot.
also, i’m largely in favor of making up my own slang words.
slamgasm
bossfunk
illwhip

It’s better than Groovy!
Right on.
Take it easy all.
indeed

There’s this dude on the radio who says “Holy garbage!!” a lot and now I find myself saying it too. It works for me.
I’m also a fan of “Geez!!” and “Good Lord!!”

Geez is good, but I’m more a fan of Jeeze.
What about “cheese and rice?”
I always exclaim “Jesus wept!” from time to time.
yeah I like saying “that’s dope,” when I’m told or see something I especially approve of.
I’ve said that to my parents before a few times. It was funny.
You ever use bodacious anymore? That’s a great one to use with the ladies.
Tubular!
Radical!
Gnarly!

Scary (Scary good, Scary bad, etc.)
i had a good one when i was a kid that i think i’ll bring back: “ex” as in “excellent” as in “her titties were ex” when i was lying, or “yeah, i pulled a sweet double boneless third ollie flipper on the ramp earlier. it was ex” when i was lying again.
George Carlin: "You ever find yourself at a party, and you gotta say goodbye to a whole bunch of people at the same time? And you go ‘Okay, hey, take it easy … Okay, hey, take it easy … Okay, hey, take it easy … Okay hey take …’ you feel like a goddamn moron!
"So now, every month, I change the way I say goodbye. Whether I need to or not, I start using a different phrase. People will ask, ‘Pardon me, but didn’t you used to say, “Okay, hey, take it easy”?’ I say, 'Yes I did, but not anymore. Now, I say “Farewell! Farewell, till we meet again; may the forces of evil become confused on the way to your house.” ’ "
I think Devin’s “deadly” is the one that most jumped out at me here.
I never hear people say that, but I like it now.
haha he said its “deadly” that I’m going to see Ween next month. I hope I survive.
I especially love saying that various things “makes baby Jesus cry.” Like if someone takes the last pop in the frig, I’ll remind them that taking the last pop in the frig makes baby Jesus cry. Because it does.
And of course that reminds me of that part in Talladega Nights where they ask why it’s always “baby” Jesus when he’s clearly now an adult…“Look, I like the baby version the best, you hear me?” CLASSIC.

Hey maybe we can be friends after all, Hank!
I’ve also picked up “Pardon” and “Wicked” from a Candian friend and my new phrase I like to say is,
“Can I get a witness?!!”
