There are some summer shows that pique my interest.
6-17-95 and 6-23-95 look pretty good. 6-26 also.
1995 is not really a year I listen to much of. At all. But I wouldn’t be opposed to hearing a nice SBD recording of a hot show.

Give us Cypress, Shapiro…
It about time.

1995-12-29
and…
1997-12-06
Sorry, I just won’t drop it. I’m stubborn!
i’m convinced we won’t see cypress until the 10 year anniversary. my only wish is that they release the entire thing. all in good time…
Does anyone else know if any other band has an element (ala “Cypress”) of such mythical status as Phish does? I mean, you say “Cypress” to ANY Phish fan and they can tell you 101 things about it. Does the GD? I guess this is geared mainly towards bands that tour quite a bit or have an extensive catalog of releases. I dunno. Just a thought that jumped into my head.

dead in egypt maybe? pink floyd at pompei?
ah, can’t think of any others right now
maybe the acid tests that the dead were involved with
The first one I immediately thought of was GD+Egypt, too.
But if I remember correctly, I remember reading JG saying the Dead didn’t even play well when they were there (I think the night of the full moon or eclipse or whatever). What about some bands that REALLY tour heavily, like Springsteen, U2, DMB, etc?
Springsteen’s was day 43 of a 72 night run at the meadowlands in 89! 44 minute Rosalita man!
5 posts is all it took. Anyone like any other '95 shows?
5/16/95
6/14/95
12/8/95
12/9/95
10/17/95 (probably only the MMW section)

agreed on all points. (would have an accident if given any)
A 12/15/95 release would be killer!
Anything from summer '95, really.

garcia is generally quoted as saying the dead blew ALL the big ones. egypt and woodstock included.
I thought Lesh said that.
I’m pretty sure it was Garcia.
From what I remember in “A Long Strange Trip” by McNally.
he said it on letterman 9-18-87. now please tell me what this has to do with the next livephish release?

For the dead, it isn’t any where near cypress proportions, but in 05 i got a limited edition box set of all the shows from the Live/Dead run. It is fucking incredible.
I’d like to see the 9/30, 10/2 & 10/3 any one of these shows would be great. Fantastic energy!
