i think they actually are a buzz kill, like scientifically or some shit and actually make you less high during the fact, but the feeling of showering after a toke i think is splendid. it also is amazing coming down from shrooms.
I was thinking about this yesterday, in my area (being in the south) of the people who listen to jam music- almost all of them listen to panic…it is pretty much assumed that if you dig this kind of music, and these people are kind of panic first with some phish i think…sort of closet phish phans i guess…but I was wondering if it was the other way around in the north since panic is from Athens and Phish from VT…does everyone listen to phish mostly with some panic sprinkled in? i may be way off on this…idk
^i personaly don’t do much panic anymore did for al little while just to fill the void when the boys were gone.

Yes, even though I’m from the midwest I’d like to think that Phish’s strongest fanbase comes from the northeast and it’s a “Phish first, Panic and everyone else second (if at all)” mentality.
i’d say most of the people i know in the northeast listen to mad phish and maybe a little panic.

This is how it is for me, and I’m from GA. But definitely a lot more panic fans down here than up north.
I’m in GA also, and for me personally its the Dead (which I have not been able to find a good forum for) first, then Phish and Panic are probably about the same after that, I just got turned on to Phish not long ago though- this is probably because they are not as popular as Panic among us in the south I’d say, I started listening to Panic a couple years ago even before the Dead
born and raised in New England and I’ve never heard a single Panic song.

i’d disagree and say phish is decidedly bigger than panic in the south. but the percentage of their share that is in the south versus elsewhere is much higher for panic. I am NOT superblazed.

I got into Panic when I found this compilation called New Year’s Vacation Shows and got it cause its like 50 songs from different shows and it was like 14 bucks…which is not on Itunes anymore…but I also got Panic in The Streets(biggest album release party in the streets of Athens, GA) and its my favorite probably of all my panic…
and my favorite tune is probably Space Wrangler- especially at the Athens show

Last night I got a call from a buddy right before I was going to hit the hay. He asked me if I wanted to smoke. I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to go because I was pretty tired and just didnt think it would be worth it. He kept coming up with reasons for me to come. so I said what the hell why not. I drive over there (its sort of a long drive 15 minutes i would say) and he gets in my car.
“So do you wanna smoke the good shwagg or the poopy shwagg first?”
I just glared at him and said, “What?”
I was honestly flabbergasted that he called me up and had me come all that way to smoke a BOWL, not a blunt, a BOWL of schwagg. I was pretty mad. But I cant really stay mad at someone who is offering to smoke me down, regardless of the situation. We end up smoking the “good schwag” first. I didn’t feel shit. I started angrily asking where i should drive to. He kept saying “I don’t know”. I told him just to pack up the other shit so I could go home.
“Smell this shwagg”
What the fuck? Thats what I was thinking in my head. “No bro. I don’t need to smell that shit.” I noticed a real pleasant smell but I def wasn’t thinking it was the herbs. He said alright and proceeded to load his bowl and passed it to me. Immediately I noticed something weird.
“Did you lace this shit with something? It tastes like candy.” He started laughing maniacally which sort of freaked me out. He just kept laughing and laughing. I started to feel REALLY REALLY high. Like the feeling you get when a strong brownie hits you. I came to a stop sign and he just pointed right. I kept asking him what was going on. He told me to pull over so i did.
“Holy. Shit.”
He pulled out this jar of the best buds I have ever seen. Just perfect kolas. Tinged with purple. Left your mouth with an overwhelming flavor of Fruity Pebbles. No clue what it was called but wow. Needless to say my friend has a good sense of humor.
I know this is a whole lot of fucking text for the sotned thread but I honestly had to write that all out. It was the best shit I have smoked in my entire life hands down.
