DXM: win or fail?
^ Fail for sure. Unless you’re trying to get rid of a cough, that is. Then it’s a definite win.
if you’re super careful (read the ingredients) and space out your usage a lot it can be a win.
Edit: That was stupid advice of me to give. If you’re new to a drug, do a fair amount of research first. www.erowid.org is an incredible resource.
i had a ridiculous night last night…my friend is visiting me in california (hes from alabama) and he decided to bring along some chocolates with him…we were bored and decided we needed to find something to do on a monday night…the result after hard thinking was…get a limo, eat some chocolates and just get the driver to cruise around and not stop anywhere…the limo was amazing it had lights that flashed and changed colors with a badass sound system in it…but the best part about it was we decided to smoke a bowl in the back reluctant at first but we did…well i didnt but my friend did…anyway the limo driver smelled it and rolled the little window thingy down and ended up smokin to…we went to the drivers house while he grabbed some bud and then he drove us to this cliff thing and we all got out and just chilled on the cliff for a little bit…it was amazing i was tripping extremely hard and had a great fucking time…but the best part of this night was i didnt have to pay for anything!! so the conclusion and the reason i am telling you all this is because u all need to find a limo with the best lights find a rich friend and some dose or mushrooms and immediatly rent the limo and trip in it…completely worth it
What’s your rich friend’s number?^
OK, so I thought I would post this here, since this place kicks ass and I value the opinions of everyone who posts on here. I want to see if anyone has any sort of insight on what the hell is going on with my smoking lately.
So I have been having chest pain/discomfort for a while now, and I never thought much of it. Then, a few weeks ago, I vaped a gigantic bowl, and my chest pain flared up really bad a little while later. This freaked me out really bad because I thought maybe something was wrong with my heart since chest pain can mean that. This triggered a panic attack, but at the time I had never had a panic attack before so I thought I was having a heart attack. I was freaking out for a while, but I managed to calm myself down. I went to the doctor the next day and found out the chest pain is acid reflux, which is a very common thing and is not life-threatening or anything like that. But what bothers me is this: every time I smoke now since then I get all anxious and shit and feel like I might have another panic attack, even though now I know there is nothing wrong with me and I have no reason to panic. So basically, I haven’t been able to enjoy pot lately because it makes me feel nervous.
Does this sound outrageous? Has anyone heard of this happening to people? I would value any sort of input that anyone might have to offer, because I used to really enjoy smoking bud, and I would like to know what this sudden change in its effects is all about.
^ I don’t think that’s outrageous at all. I think it’s your brain kinda taking over and reminding you what happened last time. Panic attacks tend to happen in situations where your uncomfortable or have felt uncomfortable before. I had panic attacks before when I was going through rehab. Just certain situations would cause them. Definitely feels like a heart attack…its’ pretty freaky. My Doc prescribed me klonopin and it seemed to help. I’m not sure if that really helps your situation, but I figured I’d share.
not outrageous at all…i was having extremely bad chest pains and it got to the point where it would feel like someone was stabbing me in the heart and was hard to even stand through the pains…i talked to my grandfather who is a doctor…he said it is not my heart…those pains can be caused by indigestion problems, stress and alot of other stuff…mine is mainly from stress though…ven at times when i dont feel stressed subconsciously i am…and you eat tums like no one business…it is probably from indigestion so i dont think you have anything to worry about…
Uhh… pretty simple dude. Quit. If you can’t, go to AA.
^12th steppin it up yem (if you even know what that means haha)
'Course I do. It’s the most important part of maintenance.
chest pains? are you sure they are just from pot…?
Yeah dude, a really good friend of mine has a similar situation on his hands. He never wanted to quit puffin, but every time he took more than a couple of drags, he would have an anxiety attack. Eventually his doc prescribed him xanax (lucky guy, right). He’s better now the pills seem to really help him. It took his body and mind a week or so to get used to the meds, and he had to ease them into his system slowly, but he rarely has attacks anymore. You probably won’t even have to quit as ignorantly stated by YEM.
This may not pertain to your situation as you may just be suffering from indigestion, and your body is reacting according to past experiences. Hopefully it does help a little, and, who knows, maybe your doc will hook you up!! Good Luck.
holy crap, my big fat cat Squibe just violently body-slammed my petite little kitty, Reba
now it looks like he’s trying to apologize…haha
wwf cat wars at hanks house everybody, $5 gets you in, $10 all you can drink pbr’s!
Anybody takin’ any action? Put me down for $20 on Reba. She’s small but feisty.
she’s been known to take Squibe down, on occasion, when he’s least expecting it
Aren’t you like the most notorious troll in the history of the OKP? What made you decide to come back and troll it up again? I wasn’t asking for a smart-ass comment, I was being serious.
By the way, thanks for all the input guys. Good to know I’m not the only one having this problem.
^ ur moms a troll…ass face…
im sorry i didnt mean it…
But what bothers me is this: every time I smoke now since then I get all anxious and shit and feel like I might have another panic attack
I know what you mean… I fainted once on some shrooms and the last time I did them I was putting them in my mouth and almost had a panic attack… but I chucked them in and shut down the “FEAR”
