Good way to figure, thom. I’d been satisfied with grey goose for a while now until some guy at work told me there was better. So I bought a bottle of the Belvedere he touted, and decided to test it on vaca. But the thing is, although Belvedere was chosen 6 times out of 10, there really wasn’t that much of a difference. I chose the Belvedere, but it wasn’t easy to do.

What is heartening is that with all the recommendations the OKP has given me for vodkas, looks like I’ve got another three or four more blind taste tests to perform.

i am by no means an expert on vodka, but ketel one is teh bomb (belvedere and grey goose are also great)

I read this article that these kids at MIT took a bottle of Popov and a bottle of Grey Goose and made a distilling device. They ran the Popov through three or four times and had a blind taste test. The Popov one overwhelmingly! They are trying to market the device for public sale now.

I don’t see how you can hate the taste of vodka, seeing as how it has none to speak of. Now, if you meant you hate the lack of taste/how it tastes like straight alcohol, I could see that.
