I'm Drunk/Stoned thread

Haven’t had any herb since Chicago…

A special delivery of Teh Gum is on its way from down south now.

Can’t wait!

new bong (new to me…prolly 5 years old) + blueberry and nova = Thom toasted in two shakes of a lambs tail.

I woke up today with this weird muscle twitch in that space between your two eyebrows and above your nose. It’s been off and on all day.
Bought 6 more beers. Review forthcoming.
Greg out.

last winter i had an eye twitch that lasted 17 days…fuckin pissed me off.

^Fuck…reminds me of that bit in Trainspotting…

hmm wow… i dont know what to say except i would prob freak out

You should add at Wakarusa in the Johnny-On-The-Spot at night.

That was interesting…

huh?

So I went to a few Dead shows with this guy who told me this story…

He was on umpteen hits or puddles or whatever and had to poop… so he hung himself off a street light over an over pass… you know, held on with his hands, standing, hanging his ass out over traffic… and then shit… he said it was wonderful… it was about this time that I started to think twice…

THEN my friend, who was this guys friend, who I thought of more than twice, storied how he pooped and wiped his ass like a dog along someones lawn…

THEN I puked on them driving 60 mph heading to the show from the previous nights drinking and eggmcmuffin in the morning.

Anyone grossed out yet or shall I continue? Actually thats it.

i’m not drunked…,.,.,.,i pormisw

yup im stoned… and Entourage was on tonight!!!

Beer Reviews!! (once again, in the order I drank them)
Sierra Nevada Summerfest 06: It’s quickly become apparent to me that microbrew pilsner is utterly pointless because their flavor is so light. If I was to do a blind taste test with this and almost any of the major American brews, I doubt I could tell a difference. Apparently a summery brew for Sierra Nevada means pilsner. Not a terrible beer but you’re better off with cheap, good old American major brewery beer. 3 out of 5.
Mythos: This beer comes from Greece and is in the pilsner/pale lager range of flavor. I found this utterly unremarkable in nearly every way. Only the novelty of drinking Greek beer makes it worth trying. 2 out of 5.
Old Speckled Hen: When it comes to beer, I find that English brews are some of the most underappreciated in the world. And this beer is great evidence as to why. Though often listed as a lager or pale ale, Old Speckled Hen is much more of a straight up ale, with a brilliant amber/reddish color and full flavor. I loved this beer!! I tend to drink pilsners with meals because they’re lighter beers, but this would go great with some hearty dinner: steak, burger, ribs, etc. 5 out of 5.
In Heat Wheat Ale: Last time, I got some Road Dog Scottish Porter which I enjoyed. From this same company I got a wheat ale and I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t like wheat ale. Or at least wheat ale like this, which has a very STRONG taste of clove with a bit of citrus. If you don’t mind a very nutty/grainy/clovey beer, you should really get into wheat ales. However I like beer to taste like malt or hops as its primary flavor, so I didn’t enjoy this at all. 2 out of 5.
Anchor Porter: Anchor Brewery is quickly becoming my new favorite brand. After loving their ale, I decided to sample their porter variety. This was a great porter with a very creamy head and aftertaste, with slight hints of the usual coffee and chocolate found in most porters and stouts. 5 out of 5.
Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Hell- Like most wheat ale I’ve ever had, this one had a very strong taste of nuts/grains, specifically CLOVE. The funny thing is that I like clove cigarettes but I don’t like this taste in a beer. This beer is VERY foamy (there is even a specific way they want you to pour it) and aromatic. But, again: not a fan of the strong clove flavor. 2 out of 5.

This is the stonedest I’ve been since I’ve smokin’ this weed…

Greg, I went to a Greek restaurant yesterday and had a Mythos. I completely agree with that review… I guess the Greeks are not known for their brewing abilities.

I also tried the Retsina wine on reccomendation from Mr. Neck. I thought I learned to stop taking advice from him, but I guess I forgot. ;D Too piney for me.

greg, i’m glad you liked the old speckled hen. that stuff is ace! there are loads of similar ales over here that are just as good. if you ever see any Timothy Taylor do yourself a favor and try it! especially the LANDLORD (not that i’ve ever seen it in the states…)

we actually just brewed our own ale at my house…it tasted like bread a week ago, and improved quite a bit for this past weekend, but should have rounded the bend for the weekend coming.

drools
