great movie, go find and read the book though if you enjoyed the movie, there are some differences
Never read the book or seen the movie but the story sounds intriguing.
that guy in the movie was in this really strange quasi-gay flick where he bit the head off of a chicken. no wonder he went into the wild.

some of those nalgene bottles and ones like it contain some sort of estrogen like hormone in the plastic…it ends up leaching into the water or whatever you have in there. filling it with a hot liquid makes it leach out at up to 500x more than with cold liquid. even some baby bottles are made with this plastic. they started making bottles with a different kind of plastic though that does not contain this hormone. make sure to buy the right one unless you dont mind having “moobs” and people calling you bitch-tits.

hahaha, i didn’t know that. I heard there was something in the plastic that caused cancer. That explains why I have man boobs. I’ve been drinking from the same nalgene for 5 years, and it had been used for 2 or 3 before that…

What Neck says is true…Nalgenes can disrupt your DNA, but reusing a water bottle over and over can be even worse. The thing to do: buy a metal mug. Shits’ll last epons.

^ it’s the ‘bisphenol A’ that they use in them, and most hard/clear plastics.

i think i read somewhere that they also make bottles out of a different plastic that isnt harmful…so you could just get a new one?
