I know it’s retarded, but I’m just arguing with a person about this and…I wanted to get some outside opinions.
Me…Yes…probably Top 50 even. Especially the version with I’ve Just Seen a Face.

Yes. My favorite Beatles album, ahead of Revolver, Abbey Road, and Sgt. Peppers.
Agreed.
Although AR is my favorite Beatles album.
i can’t count that high
sorry
but i do own it, if thats worth anything
hmmm… i wonder if i own more than 100 albums, non live discs of course. seems doubtful, majority of my music is live concerts as I assume many of you’s do as well
so yeah, get rubbery with your soul like a bad mamma jamma
Yep. Had to think about that, but yeah, I think so.
One time I tried to count my top 20 favorite artists and I could only come up with fourteen.
I imagine it’d be like that with albums; just basic math.
I have several ahead of Rubber Soul though - pretty much all the Beatles work that comes after Rubber Soul! Except Let It Be maybe.
Fourteen, eh?
Was Pork Tornado on that list?
(just kidding, I’ve never heard them)
I was just listening to “Blue Skies” from 2/26/03 today. So that’s a maybe.
Every Beatles album from Rubber Soul to Let It Be are in my top 50.
And the all-time greatest album of any band in any genra, EVER, is Abbey Road. Period.
i’m a fucking barney, I don’t even own that album, but I don’t doubt the talent of the Beatles, as just in the last couple a years, I have really come to appreciate their music and talent. The only Beatles album I own is the White Album.
The White Album is probably near the bottom of my list favorite Beatles albums. Not to say it’s not a great album, because it is, I just happen to like just about every other album they put out (maybe not Let It Be) better.
Yes.

What a fucking cool album cover, too. John looking right at ya…

of course it’s in my top 100, silly. it’s in my top 10. the older i get, the more i appreciate their absolute genius.
Who are the blokes that voted no?
Show yer faces!
i voted no, though i am uncertain (there was no choice for uncertainty)…if i were to compile a list of my 100 favorite albums, i don’t know if Rubber Soul would make it…i’m obviously leaning toward the negative, but i really don’t know.
fuck, growing out your nails for finger picking makes it really difficult to tyhpe…
I voted no, but I like too much other music to include all the Beatles albums I like. Rubber Soul is good but to me it’s a ‘tip of the iceberg’ sort of album: it’s good on its own but it hints at the greatness to come. Sorta how I feel about Radiohead’s The Bends and Can’s Monster Movie.
its not even in my top 10,000 albums
To anyone who votes no: I’d like to see a list posted of 100 albums that you have listened to and enjoy more than Rubber Soul.
that’s a significant endeavor that i have no interest in undertaking.
Is it?
