jeemeny christmas, what does it take to get some updated info on Trey? besides the Phil thing, anyone have any insights to when/if Trey is gonna be comin back? anything? Bueller? When is the probation done etc…?

Trey said he quits because the same thread keeps appearing.
I think someday he’s gonna get tired of going around the country playing “I have an addiction problem and have to ruin the music over it”, and it’s gonna feel like he’s just becoming a parody of himself.
He’s not playing right now because he’s on probation and he probably needs his P.O.'s go ahead to play any shows, which he probably isn’t going to get until he finishes his rehab program and community service. I wouldn’t look much deeper into it than that. The man loves playing music, but the MAN doesn’t care so much about music and just wants to see our man punished.

well i think he had the prob/comm service for a year, and i think that started last April, he did a show in Fl in March and then was/is in NY, so I wouldn’t expect to hear anything about anything till closer to April,
maybe April 1st… hmmm… maybe they’ll play a prank?
but yeah, no word till then i’d like to believe
Wasn’t is like at least 15 months of strict probation before he could really leave New York for an extended period of time? If so that’d be around May or June '08…not like as soon as he can Trey is going to go back on tour though. I wouldn’t expect that.
and really, its only been like A year…pull it together and have some patience.

we haven’t heard much from any of the 4 members of Phish in a little while. Page had his little tour, but that’s about it.
what do you think the possibilities are that they are quietly practicing together, all stealth-like? rumours abound about a 2008 comeback…

He has been playing will Bill Kreutzmann alot.
And Fishman is doing Jamcruise, so I’d say Phish is not practicing right now.
He was sentenced in 4/07. It’s 12-15 months in a drug program with daily call-ins and random testing. After that, probation starts - I think it is years.
Gordon is playing with Kreutzmann in Costa Rica in January 08.
