4/3, no doubt about it
4/3 YES the second set is killer, but the 1st is incredible too, the Mike’s Groove is one of the best and any set with a Reba gets extra kudos in my book. Just an all round awesome show

i really like the last night of the run…the funk cavern is amazing…on second thought, the whole show is amazing
4/2 is my second choice. I love both sets of that show, but 4/3 is just too much goodness.

i love umphrey’s, probably my favorite band right now, but their crowd is the youngest around right now. which can be a little annoying. i think there’s a 12-year old in that pic who’s smoking a cig…
4/3 is my favorite out of that run. 4/5 is a very close second though. YEM, theme, mcgrupp, bathtub!!, SOAM, that’s a massive first set, and the second is very fluid, and i really enjoy the funk funk funk at the end. i just wish they would have come back and finished that Maze at some point…

i went with 4-5, i love the setlist and its such a solid phunky show…definitley my favorite of the run. i did just re-listen to 4-3 though, damn that show is good. that roses jam is face melting…

the second set from 4/3/98 is my favorite phish set of all time, the roses jam is unreal with constant motion and i love mike in that roses jam. very cool piper and my fav loving cup of all time, so energetic and fun. the antelope is just crazy too.
Am I going to Phish hell or something for downloading this? I’m sorry Phish…I’ll pay full price to see every concert when you get back together, but this is too tempting…damn you devil bittorrent…leave me be!
just download them for listening - toss em on your mp3 player but don’t burn permanent copies. it may land you in purgatory… but at least you’ll avoid the fire and brimstone.
4/3, but 4/5 is DEFINITELY close, okp>yem is kickass, and that possum>funk>cavern is totally sweet
I was at all four shows of this run and agree with most that 4/3 was the standout.
More amazingly though, was the level of playing considering they all basically got off the couch, booked the shows and played.
