Well, eBay always works but I have an old one that I don’t use anymore since I got a new one. It’s got scratches and shit on it but it works perfectly fine. I could sell it to you for cheap. I’m saving up for a vaporizer right now so I could use a little bit of cash.

Dump the name brand and purchase something and be able to keep some respect ;D
wow.
both of you have been very helpful.
William, i guess since everybody i know has iPods i never thought of going generic. I guess the only trouble would be synching it up to the itunes software, but i might have to check some out at Best Buy some time soon.
Ship of Fools, i’d be glad to help you help me but i’m not sure what the paying situation would be?
i just decided to make the jump into the 21st century today so i’ll sleep it over.
One of the main reasons I don’t like iPods is iTunes.
Zune comes with its own software/music player, which from my experience, is 100X easier to use/customize.
To each their own, though.
^I couldn’t agree with you more about iTunes. I can’t stand that program…
I have a 4GB Sandisk player that I bought about 4 years ago and I love it. It’s about time to get a new one with a bigger capacity, and I will definitely go with Sandisk again.
this might be a problem because i love itunes.
^ Well then pony up and get yourself an iPod!
the apple store sometimes has great deals on refurb ipods. we got two through the store. we have an 80gb now and love it. i resisted the craze like you until last year. now roadtrips aren’t the same w/o the ipod. and i don’t mind itunes a bit. i hated it at first and refused to use it for my main music player, but now i like it way more than media player.
I have an 80 gig iPod. Do you have fenway tix?
^um…sure
this is what i have. you’re talking about the little clip on kind right?
for me this is all i need. i have no use for a video player or any of that stuff. it’s about $60 at best buy i think. right now i have the whole “phish destroys america” set in there plus about 7 or so cd’s of non phish stuff and it’s still not near full. that’s plenty of room for me. if i want to listen to something different i just delete something that i haven’t listened to in a while. plus it’s got a little clip on it to hook it to your belt or wherever so you don’t need a case or anything. and it’s way smaller than a nano. you just plug it in and drag and drop files from your computer. very basic and simple.
if you wanna carry around your whole library of shows and music or want to watch movies then you probably wouldn’t want this. i like it because it’s affordable and easy to use. plus it’s got fm radio on it.
you still have that 80 gb up for trade?
I lied – It’s a 40 gig, 3rd generation and in need of a new battery. Works fine when plugged in, but not so much when its off the dock. It’s also thick as a brick (Tull reference) and has some scratches. You can watch video on it, provided you have a film strip projector that you can point at it.
What do you got???
^i’ve got a back stage pass for Fenway that might not work because its just a post-it note with the words “Phish Backstage Pass- Fenway Park” written on it in green crayon and a key to the Barn that i pick-pocketed from Tom Marshall a couple years back.
deal.
meet you there.
at Fenway or the Barn?
Home plate.
^cool.
i’ll be the guy in the Bucky Dent costume.
Cool…I’m pretty easy to spot:

just scored a 30g ipod along with power charger, usb and headphones for $82 + shipping on ebay.
hopefully its not bunk.
