On the positive side of things, MPP is a rather storied venue. My mom saw The Who there pack in the 70s. Pretty neat.

SPAC lawn is not much better… these are all taken from GREAT vantage points. It gets waaay worse as you get further back.

Just put in my requests!! Cuyahoga, Hershey & Canandaigua. My boyfriend might also put in for Merriweather. Its impossible for me to pay for August’s shows right now, so those I’ll just have to wing it…Just planning on DC and Alpine, which I think I’ll be able to luck out later.
SPAC is totally worth it without tickets, plenty of space right outside the fence to dance and listen if tix are nowhere to be found.
Now, I can’t wait til March 27th-31st, when I can begin to check my bank account obsessively all day, everyday. 
My wife and I agreed that if we ever go back, we’re not buying tickets. You’re right, you can see and hear just as well from outside.

Toyota the week of the show had tix going for less than $10 on EBay, my buddy e-mailed me the next day and said he brought his wife and some friends for less than $80…
If you want to see Phish and its not something INSANE like Red Rocks or Hampton or the Greek (that could be the toughest of the Tour), you will get a ticket for Face or less FOR SURE…Just use OhKeeBay… 
I used a scalper only 1 time in my life for a concert, 2003 Allstate, show was sold out in 7 seconds…I paid $150 for a ticket…I blame OKP for not being born yet…
^^ I agree, last summer was insane with getting nothing for tickets, but they were for lawn. Pavs were still going for money and they were going for nothing at the gate 20 min before show time and those douche scalpers needed to get something for them. If anyone had a lawn ticket and were looking for a pavillion and didnt pick it up or trade lawn for pav, then they are 
. It will be interesting to see what happens this summer, i know i couldnt find pav for alpine last year and that is all i can do, my wife cant do the lawn. Mayeb the whoel world wont enter the lottery and some good summer tix will come out of it, besides upped bowl toyota and lawn at alpine, creek and everywhere else. I am not going to complain just excited i get an oppurtunity to see PHISH again this summer.
For alpine 03 and 04 I dont remeber it being like this at all, where tix just being walked on, at Hampton 04 i think someone offered their soul for a ticket

Since when has living in New England NOT panned out for Phish tour?? I live in NJ and usually get to catch at least 1/3 of the shows without having to hop on a plane. One of the best things about living in the Northeast and loving a band from Vermont!!
