After careful planning, I came to the conclusion that Telluride is a no go for me…I cannot find a cheap flight to Montrose (Ones to Denver are not much better) so I just don’t think it will be reasonable… 
That $$$ is now going to the “Fest Fund”…

Woo-friggin-hoo!!! Hershey PA, good people! A Sunday! I have a gig the day before but not that day! Now all I gotta do is not get shut out. It’s so close to my home, and I’m so pumped. I’ve been watching the vids on Youtube and salivating, listening to Hampton (thanks for the free downloads, guys!) but I have never seen the band live. In my best Animal House voice: “Oh boy, this is gonna be great!”
Help a newbie here. I see reference to “putting in requests”. Are these pre-order tix from Phish? What’s the deal?
Went to musictoday and hit request tickets for Hershey, not connecting. Does that mean they’re not taking requests or did I do something bad in an earlier life, or what?
What used to be referred to as Phish Tickets By Mail. It was/is essentially a lottery for Phish tickets as a pre-sale. They used to provide pretty good seats for those who decided to actually mail in requests for tickets (pre-Internet), but it has kind-of turned into a way to dump not-so-desirable seats recently, IMO.
Some get good seats, but by and large there are a lot of lawn seats being distributed, from what I can tell.
^^^It is the first chance at grabbing tix and you can only put in one request per credit card (though you may request as many shows as you like within that one request). If you get tix, your card is charged-- if not, you move on and try for Ticketmaster tix.

Thanks so much! I used your link, which was the one I had been using, but I also turned off my firewall which gets a little overzealous sometimes. I’m in for two pre-requested tickets at Hershey! To the post that said it usually means cheap seats, in Hershey I’m okay with that. I saw Springsteen last summer (yawn) and we had reserved seats in the bleachers. Floor is better sound and easier to move about, which I need to do.
