So, I went to see Jack johnson last night in Camden.
I’ll start by saying that i had a great time. I was pretty upset that my girl couldn’t attend beciase of a work schedule for this morning, but the rest still carried on and had a good time. We were in the Pit for the very first time ever at Camden,a nd I must say…that is a good place to see a show from. 
ALO and G-Love put on really good sets to opent he show. Zach Gills…from ALO…the guy has some talen and I recomend maybe checking them out if you haven’t already.
But, the main reason i stated this thread is because i am really sorta pissed at the fans.
Anyone who knows anythign about Jack Johnson, knows that this is a guy who promotes the hell out of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. he wants everyone who comes to his shows to leave as small of a carbon footprint as possible. He makes sure recyclable bags are available as you get to the lot, offers up free water at his shows, as long as you have your own container, promotes car pooling, etc.
In an effort to avoid sitting in traffic for an hour, we sat in the lot instead, and were one of the last cars to leave the lot. It was absolutly disgusting how shitty the lot looked. Trash, cans, bottles were EVERYWHERE!!! Granted, some of it was in trash or recyclng bags, but as we walked to the car, it seemed like every 10 seconds, a car was driving over a glass bottle. Plastic bottles were sprewed all over the ground.
It was just a shame. really made me sad. And I am sure that one of the main reasons for this was that the average age seemed to be about 20. Sooooooooo many kids, who, well, just might not get it yet…or ever.
