jam bands...

^really.

ratdog = adult contemporary Dead

The Heavy Pets ;D Umphrey’s :sunglasses: Biscuits

i don’t know shit about jambands. i always have a couple or a few bands from the different genres that i gravitate towards and mostly ignore the rest. i don’t know why.

with that being said, i do tend to enjoy the dickens out of some Umphrey’s when i get the chance.

I think Ratdog is a great band, I dig them more than Phil at this point, i love them both, but i would go to a rd show over a pl&f show
just my opinion though

^I think I would agree with you at this point.

I like Phil shows, but I think he might be letting the music get a bit too “new school.” I mean, he played a frickin untzy Particle song this summer. He has a right to do new things and all that, but Phil is straying from his roots a bit more than I like, I think.

Ratdog sticks more to the GD sound, and I like that. And they have a saxophone player.

of all the instruments, the saxophone is the one that makes me want to jam a sharp stick into my ear. i don’t know what it is, but i hate the sound of a saxophone. i mean bad. really, really bad.

love trumpets.
love trombones.
love the fluglehorn (chuck mangeone anyone?)

hate the saxophone.

the saxophone is the bastard-retard pissant of the brass instrument family. and that’s not just my opinion. god hates saxophones too. it says so in the bible.

^ You don’t mean the soprano sax, too… do you?

DO YOU?

G has ruined my life for many years.

i WILL destroy his base.

Fair enough, then.

Branford says: “Listen to more of me”

That is a great photo there… Anyhow, I think the bluegrass jam scene is where my mind is turning to now… More than ever…

It’s actually a woodwind.

Hahaha!

^^^nice woodwind burn up there!

listen to Herbie Hancock and his saxamaphone player. He rocks my socks off.
