I’ll take Phishy for 1997, make that 2000.
And I saw this on etree, though I wasn’t searching for it. Is that cheating?
Sure, it’s all in fun.
I’ll have the 2000 question for you when I get back to my office a little later in the day.
Today’s is pretty easy, if you’ve seen the movie. Which I haven’t. This would be one of the FEW questions I wouldn’t get in this category.

Answer: Classic 1954 film that gave us the “Could’a been a contender” speech.
What is ‘On the Waterfront’?
Ah shit, Marlon Brando said it (I think)… do I get half credit for that? A donut maybe?
The… The… Contender. No. The Bridge on the River Quay? No. Star Wars? Shit.
:’(
Swartz is correct.
50 Pepsi points to Bonz for identifying the actor.
woohoo!
::gleefully snuggles pepsi points::
That’s a fantastic scene, by the way…easily the best of the movie. You can see why Brando was so well thought of even when he was just a kid. He totally careers that movie…it’s uncanny.
Also, I get bonus points in that DeNiro repeated that line at the end of Raging Bull. Well…maybe not…
