I am soooo fucking stoked, this thing is killer.
been saving for a while now and decided to just go for it
hoping to get some good recordings shortly of my new band
they are a bit tough to use in the beginning but i am going to read all the manuals, look for tutorials and really learn the shit out of this machine
the idea of allowing it to let you send songs back to the mixer to re-mix after a recording or show is just amazing, rather than doing it on the computer, its hands on, which i am way better at
I am selling a Mackie 820i I just bought cause it was to small for me, and you had to use the program to do everything. Plus you dont have any presets like the Presonus

sorry on the lack of review, i got the mixer last wed. which was a journey in it self. missed Fed Ex so I had to drive to Buffalo to get it and got lost there and on the way back. got everything set up, my buddies got there and we set up our music equipment and i came downstairs to get my computer (it had started to downpour while we were setting up). Well I say to my gf dude where’s my computer at and she starts freaking out and runs outside
well she left it outside and got sidetracked from the baby and dogs. needless to say my mac book pro took a swim, it was soaking wet and fried.
so i had to get a new one, should be here tomorrow or wed. from what they said and thank god for home owners insurance, covered most of it except for the deductible and the apple care
so im hoping soon, been reading the manual and really trying to get ready for it, there is so much to learn

Dude just keep running into fucking every possibly problem there is known to man with this thing. Got the Computer figured out, got a new one in the mail, had to order a new firewire cable to fit cause the one that came with the Presonus didnt fit 
I finally recorded on Wed. with my buddies, sounds great, only problem is- The new version of Capture that I recorded through, the dumb fuck who made it forgot to add the 3 most important buttons for exporting the tracks to wav format so now it’s useless. Good thing I have Logic 9 and Tracktion 3, bad thing is we have to re-record all the stuff we did the other night 
I have spent well over 4 hours on the phone with the Tech Department from Presonus this week, on hold most of the time (takes 25 minutes on hold for them to even pick up the phone- no lie, try it). Then the Tech guys know jack shit about anything and have to put you on hold for another 10 minutes to get an answer from a “supervisor” who says he will call you back in 10-20 min. but never does, and when you call back the next day they pretend like you never called.
Finally got this guy today to go to the actual guy who makes the Capture and he knows the fault and is trying to make a new version but doesn’t know when it will be released and doesn’t even want to guesstimate it.
Just blows man, really love the mixer but all the shit with Capture has really pissed me off, and I rarely get mad about anything.
