Well I just moseyed up to Michael’s Tavern where I work as a hostess and gave them my 2 weeks notice. Onward and upward I guess. My parents and I are heading over to the Middle East to see my Sister for the holidays, then I’m moving to NYC (Washington Heights) in January. Man I’m growing up, and its scary. I’m gonna be a quarter of a century old in 1 month! yikes. Like I told one of my co workers at school . “Im an adult, but I’m not grown up yet”
Nobody grows up!!! I commend you for your horizons. Anything that can expand your mind that isnt drugs or alcohol is okay in my book. Congrats!!

i gave my two weeks notice about a year ago. i had a long vacation. now i’m going crazy and need to work again. ga.
I know how you feel Funky. I only have one semester left in x-ray school, so it’s closing in on the time to decide where to live because I’m sure as hell not staying around here!!! After graduating from Auburn a few years ago, life didn’t really change. Got a little nothing job and pretty much continued the life I was already living. This feels different though. I’ll actually have a career instead of just a diploma. Couple that with the 28th birthday coming up next month and growing up is more of a reality than it’s ever been before. At this point in life though, I finally feel ready. You will be too Funky. Besides, as long as you keep that playful, fun loving spirit, you can have the best of both worlds!
