Kickstarter for New Computer Music Album

Hey folks!

I’ve got a kickstarter going for my new album, “Beneath the Ice.” It consists of pieces I’ve written (in the classical/art music vein) for computer-generated sound and one solo instrument.

I use things like recordings of my guitar, the Animoog ap, Max/MSP and a whole lot of other things for my sounds, put them into pro-tools and then sculpt a piece with an accompanying instrument in mind.

If you guys are interested, please do me a solid and check it out. There’s a video below and the link to the kickstarter is here:

Bump - anyone?

Curious about your opinions/perceptions about what I’m trying to do!

The video is more talking about what you’re doing. I would like to hear what you do besides what is in the background.

This is basically how I felt after watching the video:

I would tend to agree with Katiemay… I like the background info on the release and what it is you were trying to accomplish, but I heard very little and would love to hear some more of the musical part of this project.

Good luck to you!!!

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

I put a link up in the FAQ where you can hear more music. Unfortunately, I couldn’t change the video once the project went live, but I agree, I could have had more music in there to begin with.

Here’s the link to more music if you’re interested: http://georgefetner.tumblr.com/tagged/listen

Thanks for the input. I guess it was hard for me to upload music at this point (unlike a band that has lots of live footage) since none of the pieces were recorded yet.

I will say that the project is coming along nicely and I’m getting some killer takes of all the pieces.
