I always seem to have this disscussion with my friends and almost none of them agree with me when i say that Jordan could take any of them in his prime. They all say Kobe is the best ever. What do you guys think?
why isn’t Toni Kukoc an option??
no seriously, MJ, no doubt about it. Absolutely.

yeah i think it goes
1 Jordan
2 Kobe
3 Wade
4 LeBron aka Mr Overhyped
Wade might be on the level of Kobe just because he has absouletly no help offensively in miami.
^as the resident South Floridian, I have to chime in.
Of all the current players i personally like Dwayne the best. Golden Eagles for life.
Um, you better hope B doesn’t see this thread.
When Kobe or Lebron get enough 6 rings, let me know. Until then, MJ.
TOP 5

Just Kidding!

^Ahh, that picture of him with all of the rings on never gets old. Long live the great one.
Jordan
no contest
Jordan…
for now.
comparing any basketaball player to Jordan at this point is flat out an insult.
MJ is god. I was searching around a bit tonight at my parents and found my old Chicago Bulls beanie! I loved Scottie Pippen! Good stuff!
Big B’s got the top-5 down pat.
Although if it were just top-5 overall (and not by position which I think he might have been going for, if you play Russell at the PF spot, you could easily substitute Bird in for Magic and be OK.
Let’s not forget Chamberlain, Havlicek, or even Moses Malone. Those guys could score with the best of them.
this can’t even be a valid discussion
If you look up “epic” in the dictionary, there should be a picture of MJ.
when i was a kid, if you had a poster of Michael Jordan on your bedroom wall or an MJ replica jersey, you were automatically pretty cool.
I always wanted Michael to lose, but he just never did in those days. AWESOME
Bump for SteveO’s immanent rant!
Silly thread, Jordan without question.
No way Lebron could win a title with some of the rosters Jordan had.
I was always a huge Blazers fan…the 90s were some of the most heartbreaking years of my life. However, looking back I just feel blessed that I witnessed the most incredible basketball performances ever. Jordan defined unbeatable.
i got to see Jordan play in person once…in a playoff game! when a friend had invited me to a game of the east conference finals in oh…1997.
it was the only game of the series that the Heat won and let me tell you they whooped ass. But MJ still scored like 25-30 points. So even though i was stoked that the Heat dominated, it was real cool to see #23 lay it down smooth in person after growing up watching on tv and video games.
