I’m gonna base this one purely on the feeling i got at 12-30-97 as opposed to 11-20-98. Sally edges it out by a 1/4 smile!

Boy, Quinn is getting his ass kicked!
And rightfully so, I might add.
I can’t even picture how it got this far…I don’t know if I can think of any time they played it, other than Oswego, off the top of my head. Maybe Ian’s Farm in '89? I think Quinn the Eskimo is a better song overall, but in the hands of Phish, Sally is maybe the best thing ever. If it didn’t have to go up against 2001 in the next round it could have been a contender.

Yeah…huge bust out at that!! They only played it 11 times total. Only 4 times in the 90’s, with none coming before '98. The LAST version was on 10/2/99.
