I once missed half the classes (at least) in my History of Mathematics class. Bad move. I still have nightmares about walking into that Final having no clue what was going on. Go to class…just get really stoned before you go.

dude, i’m in the exact same boat. last wednesday was my first day of college (going to clark u, in worcester mass., for anyone in the neighborhood), though it was for orientation. i officially started yesterday. i’m having a good time so far but it’s fucking surreal. right now it just feels like a vacation from my normal life and that i’ll be resuming that in a few weeks when i go home for good…but this is the real deal. good luck, brother.

Don’t laugh. I appeared as an annoymous student listed in a small paragraph in the plice blotter of the Student Paper for nearly burning down my dorm room. Ahhh, college.
Yeah, I’m an English and Philosophy double Major. Needless to say, this summer my parents kept saying “What do you want to do in life?” I said, I dunno, keep going to school, then maybe teach school. I don’t think they bought it though.
I took Intro to Philosophy my freshman year and Environmental Philosophy my senior year and loved both courses.
It’s just not something I saw myself studying full time.
But yeah.
I loved getting roasted and typing philosophy papers.

my buddy is going for his final year for his masters in philosophy he plans on applying for his doctorial program and doing that as well, then probably teaching at a university or something, he is mad mad into philosophy, we always have such great conversations b/c he’ll argue anything just for the sake of a good arguement
