well i don’t really count the reunion of floyd or zep or van halen a reunion for obvious reasons
the police tho was a real reunion
and for when phish does come back it will be better than all those others listed

They have a song called LIVE?
i’m thinking Police > Zep > Floyd > VH in order of coolness. that’s just because i’m a huge Police fan. then again i fucking hate Sting’s stupid welcsh ass. so maybe i’m wrong. but i’m not, so everyone just fuck the fuck off you bastards!!!

^ Starkist?
i find Starkist to be the tenderest and most flavorfullest of the canned tunas, yes.
fresh fish
fresh fish
fresh phish?
hopefully soon
I just figured because of the whole charlie thing!
Had a Tuna Melt on Rye for lunch, on the house!!! Was at a business lunch, just to be the “Numbers Guy”.
Why was Floyd not a reunion? Because Syd couldn’t be there? Or because no tour?
both seem like good answers
I don’t get why a Floyd reunion wouldn’t count.
If it is because of the lack of Syd, that does not make any sence. He was only in the band for a few years. and for 2 albums (piper, saucer) and since the early 70’s they haven’t even played any songs off those albums. Atom Heart Mother,Meddle, DSotM, WYWH, Animals, The Wall were all “real floyd” as well as the aformentioned Syd era albums. Where as post wall albums; Final Cut(which even roger conciders a solo album performed by Pink Floyd), Momentary lapse of talent, and division bell are not Floyd to me.
Floyd is Gilmour, Waters, Wright, Mason (none of this no Roger bullshit)
I didn’t think they (Zeppelin) sounded too good live. Too bass heavy, as if they are trying to mask their playing with loud noise. My opinion though, I guess I like the old stuff too much.
I love it … haven’t heard much of the show yet, but just the fact that it’s happened has me pulling out Led Zep records …
Song Remains The Same was played a couple times in my house over the weekend. I think I’m finally warming up to this album.
Listening to this show now…
And if I spent $20,000 on a ticket, I would be incredibly disappointed…
^$20K for Led Zep tix? that’s nothin. hell, i’ve spent at least twice that in traffic tickets. and they aren’t nearly as entertaining.
i listened to that source that is circ, sounds like garbage, i deleted all the files after about 30 seconds of listening
I was able to see all/most of the GOOD youTUBE shots, I mean hell everyone is a critic, but there is nothing I have seen or heard that says SUCK… I have also witnessed The Police reunion shows and VH reunion… ZEP nailed it as well if not better than those others…
I would pay equal or more than IT / 1999 Cypress / LemonWheel/ Vegas shows from Phish to see a single ZEP show…
But being an ‘OLDER’ member of the OKP, I guess good old fashioned ROCK N ROLL no longer really exists…
Good luck to ZEP, I hope they tour, I will be there to pay respects to the ‘best rock n roll blues funk’ band ever…
funk? I’ve never heard any Zeppelin funk…someone point me towards an album here…
How the west was Won (not realllly the name of the album, but came out at the same time as the HTWWW DVD-whole lotta love, from what i remember. realllllly funky segues. DO THE CRUNGE!!
I LOOOOOVE that album.
Lot’s of really GREAT live Zeppelin out there.
But that is why bands play.
…Yes, I’d spend my hard-earned cash to watch Zep.
I realllllllly hope that was sarcasm. It was, right?
