at first I was like “which song was this?” but then when I read those lyrics cJ posted… I remember it now; this was an awesome song. It was either this or Ocelot that was the best new song from last night.
I definitely like this song, although I think I like Ocelot better right now. I like the lyrics in this song, but not so much the sound of the vocals. Don’t get me wrong, its fantastic, just not my absolute fave. At least not right now.

I kind of wish they’d play this one again. It was done first night of the tour coming out of a Tweezer, and it feels like it’d be a nice jam vehicle itself… I’d like to at least hear how a clean introduction would sound.
Huh, and the night I write that… granted, it came out of a Rock And Roll, but it’s nice that it hasn’t been forgotten.

Just rocking this one again right now. This is my most played phish jam this week for sure.
First night of the Gorge is probably my favorite show of the tour. Really good stuff all around. The Sneaking Sally->Cavern and Gin->Hood are pretty good too.
Wish I caught the west coast stuff this year. Oh well
The arrangement of this song makes it sound very much like it is the centerpiece of a musical. The beginning of “Broadway Phish”?
