I have one small request; when a mod locks a thread, could he please post why he is locking it.

When I lock threads, I say why and then lock it. I don’t speak for the other gods, but I think we’ve been RIDICULOUSLY fair compared to almost all other message boards who police their forums like, well, police. If one of us locks a thread and doesn’t post a reason, I tend to trust their judgment.
If you really have an issue with a thread being locked, PM or email one of us and ask. We’ll get to the bottom of it.
