Booo! Seriously, I hope there aren’t crazy fans trying to say the show is “art.” It’s certainly an interesting show but it’s not art.
This seems more likely, especially with how Jacob appeared as Esau in the Bible which is similar to how the Evil Guy has used Christian, Ben’s daughter and other dead people to appear as “Jacob’s voice” or “the island’s voice”
And I don’t mind watching on TV that much…I mean, they always have some cliffhangers or big moments right before commercials so the break is almost perfect in that it gets your mind racing during the break. It works out well.
And I wonder about the significance of Crazy Libby too. It’s almost like the whole story has so much moved beyond the Libby thing that a big revelation of her doesn’t seem like it would matter. I always thought that it was weird that they showed her at the institution and then killed her off like two episodes later. I guess it may still tie in to Hurley’s past but again, just seems like more details to me. Maybe they intended to have it go somewhere and then decided not to, kind of like the Nikki and Paulo story.
And, yeah, aside from Ben, Locke’s my favorite character too. I have a hard time believing that they built him up into this “The One” character for all this time only to have him killed. You’d think the original Locke would find a way to show up somehow. I’ve been liking how the commercial don’t show CRAP to even give you a clue about what may happen after that bomb went off. I’m pumped baby!
