What are the hot stories in the game?

My prediction for the World Series:
National League: Los Angeles Dodgers

That team is just loaded. They will go a long way. Watch out for the Dodgers.

Normally I’d mock a Yankees fan for putting such a celebration for beating Tampa Bay but considering how Tampa has strangely owned the Yankees in the last couple years, I suppose I’ll allow it. You guys lucked out with Pinella going to the NL.

As for the Tigers…well…I have a feeling it’ll be more of the same. Bondermania started slow but got better and, as usual, Fernando Rodney came in and blew the game for us. Good times. The sooner he is out of the rotation, the better. Either way, I’m glad the Tigs fought back. Should be a real fun year. Frankly, I don’t care about the record since the AL Central is going to a be a frickin buzzsaw, but if the Tigs make a Wild Card, then I’ll be happy.

And, holy crap, what the heck happened to Contreras. This guy was unbeatable for a year and a half and he just went to crap last year and now it continues this year. He’s not even the third best pitcher on that team anymore. What a disaster.
