yeah well the phils just lost another to the braves in extra innings, and of course it was ryan madson giving up a homerun, not to mention a blown save in the 9th by flash gordon, after cole hammels pitched a jem of a game striking out 8 or 9

^ neither, the nationals are just awful. i think they lose 100 games this year for the worst record in baseball.
padres are looking great so far. peavy pitched a gem on tuesday and their offense isnt as weak as it has been over the past 2 years. im glad everyone is talking about the dodgers so the padres can slip under the radar with their superior rotation and bullpen.

Sidney Ponson’s first start as a Twin–we don’t stand much of a chance tonight unless we score 5 or 6 runs, which hasn’t been too hard for opponents of the Yankees so far.
That was the worst Twins game I’ve ever attended. The only cool thing was Cuddyer throwing Damon out at third base from right field.
Everything else was putrid, especially Pidney Sonson.

^As a Mets fan The Phillies still scare me the most. Even moreso than the Braves. It’s a long season, and the Phils played us well last year. Especially as the season moved on.
