Seriously, how do Cleveland fans even handle this?? I mean this guy is BORN AND RAISED in Cleveland during a time when the Indians were actually good and contending and he still cheers the Yanks? That’s a true definition of a bandwagon fan…he likely only picked them because they win all the time…there’s no other explanation…I have a brother who does the same thing and I constantly give him shit about it. Seriously, everyone in that stadium should have given a big middle-finger to LeBron. The best was seeing him in the 7th or 8th inning with his hat turned backwards and looking like he wanted to jump off a cliff. That was priceless.
And that fifth inning was sweet…seeing CC bust his ass and get out of that inning then watching the Indians finish off the Yanks. I don’t like the Indians at ALL but I’ll take them a million times over the Yanks…it’s actually nice to appreciate all these players that have been working over my Tigers all year long…though I still can’t bring myself to cheer Grady Mays…the hype for this dude is so ridiculously unwarranted…(especially since he pales to Curtis Granderson).
And who wants to bet the Yankee fans will rip on A-Rod for not getting a hit and ignore the fact that Jeter and Matsui didn’t get any either?
The best was me calling my Yankee-fan brother and reminding him that Wang was by far their best pitcher…he sounded like he was gonna cry. Hilarious.
And I don’t care if it’s lame…I’m on the Rockies bandwagon too. I always cheer for teams that have long been crappy or forgotten since I feel their pain since I have been cheering for the Lions and (until recent years) the Tigers for all these years. The Jaguars, the Rockies, the Browns…it’s good when the forgotten and long-time crappy teams rise up. Besides, I don’t have the Tigers and I dislike everyone in the AL except the Angels so that’s all I have left.
And sorry Cubbie fans…maybe next year. MWAHAHAHA…

Not too bad so far. At least the Yankees made one of these series interesting. Yanks are keeping a 3 man rotation and bringing Wang back 1 day early. I think it’s a smart move to not use Mussina, he has been too inconsistent this season even though he has a good track record in the playoffs.

Well, so far so good…kinda. Red Sox advance which sucks but I kind of figured they’d advance. They look like the team to beat…well-rounded on both sides of the ball. The Rockies won which is fun and that’s so sweet that the Cubbies won…sorry Chicago fans…better luck next 100 years…MWAHAHAHA
The Yankees game 2 was just awesome. From the sick pitching by both guys (Carmona’s been awesome all year…I swear the Tigers never hit more than 2 runs on him all year). Then the ridiculous gnat infestation which caused one of the weirdest innings ever. The best was once Joba and Rivera were gone, you KNEW that whoever the Skankees rolled out there would lose the game and sure enough it happened. And I love Steinbrenner bitching about the bugs…this is despite it not really having an effect on Carmona, Perez and Rivera. Awww…how unfair…the 250million dollar roster doesn’t have it FAIR!!! I love how there’s ALWAYS an excuse for the Yanks…last year it was because Game 2 was rain delayed…this year it’s gnats. Next year it’ll be alien abductions.
It’s a smart move to roll out Wang tonight. Torre’s learned from last year when he threw out Jared Wright in game 4 against the Tigers and you KNEW they were finished. Should be a good one…Paul Byrd can definitely get it done.
And don’t you love Steinbrenner basically saying “Win or you’re fired” to Torre? Yeah, way to treat a dude who won three World Series for your worthless, overspending team, Goerge. I don’t think Torre’s that good a manager but I hope he goes elsewhere and then crushes the Yanks every time they meet.
