Once in a while I see Gordo in somebody’s avatar and it reminds me of him.
I miss SuperJay; it was his B-day the other day.
He and I had the most similar opinions regarding musicians, except for his praise of Chris Wood (of MMW) and my thinking Chris Wood is the weakest member of MMW, and highly over-rated.
We don’t see ghost around here much either. Cool dude.
Yeah, haven’t talked to Eli in some time. Living in Texas and believe he’s got two little ones running around, so I’m sure he’s got a plate full.
Still, miss talking to him, and hope that all is well.

Chris Wood is the glue that holds everything together! I think it was in an early MMW interview that Vernon Reid (the interviewer, and a brilliant one at that) compares Chris’s harmonic overtones to Fred Hopkins, saying they have a very vocal quality, that they sing. That’s pretty high praise! If you’re just a warm body they got to fill in on bass, you don’t get those kind of compliments from people who are listening deeply.
