I think Hood got a 1 seed the same way that Duke BB teams get high seeds ever year that they don’t deserve. The outro jams dont really do much for me. But I must admit, that A-D-E-D-E-D progression in 25/8(?) in the middle of Hood is Sonic Gold.
Hood for one more round for me.
I feel pretty good about hood. ^That middle section is my favorite part too.
Where’s the Weekapaug love?! Hood is Good but Weekapaug is a Week With God.
I definitely felt guilty for considering Paug for longer than I should have. Hood, as monotonously often as they played it, just tugs on my heart strings.

Weekapaug just has so much more energy. There are certain Hoods that, while beautiful, are almost too mellow and they just about put me to sleep sometimes. Weekapaug always makes me sit up and take notice. It is full of great soloing, great teases, great rhythms, and no matter where you put it, it is never a bad spot in a set. I just think of the Spectrum '99 show where they open with Hood and how I really don’t care for it as an opener. I would kill for a Weekapaug opener or any spot in a set really. It’s much more than Mike’s little brother, and if it makes it through to next round we’ll see who the little brother really is.

you know what, I’m going to vote for Weekapaug! The energy is unmatched, even in the Phish catalog.
