Mike fall tour

^shame on you

it does seem the setlists are varying a lot more this tour than last late summer/early fall tour

I got my Soulfood Man at Omaha last year

From my experience seeing this group twice last Summer (All Good & Cleveland), the Inside In band is more my style. Steel guitar, tap dancing rhythm, just pure awesomeness.

She Said, She Said was a fun cover though.

SET I: I’m Deranged, Another Door, Exit Wound, The Field, Sarala, Revolution, No One Receiving, Only A Dream*

SET II: Only A Dream, What Things Seem, Couch Lady, Swamp Music, Ain’t Love Funny > Kryermaten > Ain’t Love Funny, Can’t Stand Still, God Put A Smile Upon My Face, Dig Further Down

Encore: Makisupa Policeman

Show Notes:

  • unfinished, then picked up again to start the second set

Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey opened.

There should be a * for both encores as well.
Ivan came back out for those.

This show was hot. The Soulfood Man, Dig Further Down to finish the 1st set was great.
And the 2nd was funky as hell with Ivan.

anyone have the setlist from Ann Arbor’s show on 9/29?

^ For whatever reason its not up on Gordo’s “From the Road” section??

going tonight… gordo in Toronto Canada… can’t get any better then that…

^noice, have fun buddy

I just decided I’m going to Buffalo tomorrow.

Show was sweeeet. Really fast Cities, I liked. Beltless Buckler, When the Cactus Are in Bloom, Meat, Takin’ It To the Streets. Great show all around. Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey was cool. Their drummer and bassist are great.

Tried to track you down based on your OKP pics but no luck. Show was great though. Cities was pretty badass - seemed like a cross between the original and a version claypool would do. Beltless, Couch Lady, Meat>Time for Loving. I was definitely impressed by Murouski, the keyboard player seemed a little showy, but good none the less. Glad you convinced me to hit the show Will.

I thought that was a pretty great spot to see a show too.

Shiiiiiit. That must’ve been an awesome suprise! I gotta get around to dl’ing one of these shows.

i did too much bass last night.

3 sets. got there a little before 9 and JFJO was already on and jammed a full set it seemed. mike came on at 10 or 1015 played til 12 then jammed hard til 1.30…epic night before a geology test tonight.

Time (The Revelator) by Gillian Welch? And, does Mike play guitar at his shows rather than bass? No pictures so far I noticed…

He plays his usual bass. Scott Murawski handles the gee-tar.

That VT. show looks good.
Too bad Page didn’t sit in longer. Only 1 song?

Still cool though,…great tour by Mike.

Here is a fun picture from Buffalo:

Where are the Mike LP releases???
